September 27 & 28

Charlotte a bit chilly after swimming

Hello again!
This is Ella and Henny, and as you may have guessed, we will also be writing the blog post for yesterday and today.

So yesterday was beautiful (most every day here is) and our main highlight was going down to the beach that evening. We saw a harpist playing for someone who was having wedding pictures done by the beach, which made Ella miss her harp.

Charlie discovered his shadow and was chasing and waving it all across the beach. Thankfully Ella and I (Henny) were able to run back to our room to grab the camera and get a couple of pics.

Gertie leaned to float! This is a big step for her, as she always was just sitting on the steps of the pool.

Sara also said she can't float... meanwhile Charlotte is trying to convince everyone she saw a mermaid. (No, she didn't.)

Ella came up to Eema and told her, "You know if your blind when you think someone who's holding a towel is wearing a wedding dress."

Today was great as well, but didn't take any photos except for this beautiful sunset that Abba took before our Shabbat meal.

Shabbat Shalom!

September 26th

Hey peoples!

So this is Ella, and I'll be writing about our day today. As most of you know, today was Yom Kippur, the day of atonement where we fast until sundown. Well, most of our family does, I don't think it's quiet fair to make a three year old not eat all day.

Besides doing an English assignment, there was no home schooling and so we spent most of the day on and off at the beach.

Broke our fast with some delicious Panda Express.

Miss all you guys! Feel free to leave a comment,

Introduction

We arrived safely in two transports to the land of sun, beaches, burnt tourists, and rainbows. Dad had three munchkins, one not so munchkin-ish, in the first transport on day one and mom had three munchkins, two of which think they are not munchkins, with her in transport two the next day.

We are truly blessed with our current living arrangements. We did not expect it to be quite so nice. The property has beautiful, meandering, koi gardens and sits on a very nice beach next to a lavish hotel. We walk from the front door to the gardens and stroll through paradise to the swimming pool. From there we head through a gate and to the water's edge less than 100 feet away.

Beach day 1
We have decided to go "incognito" in this posh setting and have not only swiped the names of some people from a fun book but also changed our appearances to those similar of a happy family from Washington with a Suburban full of kids. The 24 security folks 150' from our front door (seriously) might not be enough to keep "unwanted" visitors away. Of course, if you are reading this blog, you are probably a "wanted" visitor and are more than welcome to drop by, just not at nap time.

Stay tuned for future posts and remember, any photo similarities with anyone you know are only similarities.

Shalom,

Abba

P.S.
Our names come from the book called All-Of-A-Kind Family, and are so named in order of oldest to youngest:
Dad (Abba), Mom (Eema), Ella, Henny (Hennrietta), Sara, Charlotte, Gertie, and Charlie.
